Great news! We are almost done with our homestudy! Our part is complete...we are just waiting for our agency to finish things up on their end. This is great news!
Next, we are applying for approval from USCIS (immigration) to bring a child home from China. This process can take 6 weeks-6 months. We are praying that this process does not take that long - we are ready to go to China NOW!
We are also working on our dossier documents. This is the official paperwork that will be sent to China. The dossier needs the USCIS approval before it can be sent to China, so please pray that once we are fingerprinted, USCIS grants us approval quickly.
From there, our dossier will be off to China, where it will be logged in and we will receive a Log In Date (LID). At any point after that, we could receive a referral!
Please pray that there will be no roadbumps along the way to our next child! The Lord knows who that child is, and where that child is, and when we will meet our child. We are trusting in Him!
