I have great news! Our home study is done!
Home studies are large documents written by a social worker describing a prospective adoptive family, evaluating their fitness to be adoptive parents, and gathering information that will help officials match a child with the adoptive family. Anyone wishing to be a foster or adoptive family needs a home study.
We are happy that this step is now complete! Praise God for His goodness!
Our home study will be sent to USCIS when we apply for fingerprinting. It will also be sent to China as part of our dossier. One more step - DONE!
