Gracie

Gracie came through her surgery very well yesterday!  Praise God!  She did very well throughout the procedure.  The doctors feel they were able to completely remove the tumor.  They were very pleased with how the procedure went.  The mass was sent off for analysis, and we will have the results late next week or early the following week. 

Originally, we thought we might have to leave her overnight yesterday, but she was able to come home in the early evening.  (Translation:  Happy Gracie, Happy Mama.)

Last night she had a hard time sleeping and has been uncomfortable all day today.  We have been giving her pain medication to help.  She has been sleeping on and off all day; changing from our arms to the bed or couch. 

Gracie is one tough chickie - she has been through so much.  Please continue to pray for her healing and strength.  Please also pray that there will be no recurrence of the cancer.
