Next Friday Gracie will have surgery to remove the lump. Of course, we are not looking forward to Gracie having to endure another surgery, but we are thankful that surgery is the best option for treatment: the doctors are certain they can remove the entire lump, eliminating the need for future cancer treatments. Praise God that we had the CT done and that this lump was found while it was still too small to do significant harm to Gracie!
Through all of this, we are grateful for the continued support and communication from both our primary vet clinic as well as the university vet hospital. They have kept us as up to date with information as they could. They have communicated with each other and then back to us. Praise God for these talented, compassionate people!
Please keep Gracie in your prayers as well as her doctors. Pray that she handles the procedure well and pray for the skilled hands of her doctors. Please also pray that Gracie makes a quick recovery.
Thank you for your prayers!!!
I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
Psalm 91:2
