Gracie

Last week, Miss Gracie-poo had surgery to remove a lump in her neck.  Today we returned to the puppy doctor to have some blood work done following the surgery.  The pathology report was not what we had hoped.  The lump was cancerous. 

The news might not be so bad.  The report stated that the lump was fully encapsulated; they got it all.  Our vet says that this usually takes care of the problem for this particular type of lump, but we are seeking additional information about treatment options anyway.  Next week she will have her stitches removed and we will learn more about those options.

In the meantime, please pray for our little Gracie.  She is a tough little girl, and deals so well with whatever comes her way.  We are praying that even though we may seek other treatment options for our little girl, the cancer will not return.  God is the Great Physician, and we are asking Him to keep her healthy.

Our Gracie just turned 11 years old on July 4th.  She's our little firecracker!  Please pray for Faith, too...she's been worried about her sister.
